Philips unveiled a new range of webcams yesterday. But if your needs are a little more basic, you might want to check out its newly-launched range of PC cameras - the Philips SPC520NC and SPC220NC.
Both offer easy connectivity to your PC or laptop, a built-in digital microphone and 30 frames per second video streaming. They also support all instant messaging and free internet calling services including Skype, Windows Live Messenger and Yahoo Messenger and have a snapshot button for capturing digital photographs. The difference? The SPC520NC has a 1.3 megapixel camera with 3x zoom and image optimising, while the SPC220NC is VGA.
The SPC520NC and SPC220NC will be available in the second half of the year, priced at 29.90 Euros and 19.90 Euros respectively.
