"Are we there yet, mum? Are we there yet, mum? What about now? Are we nearly there yet, mum?" Annoyed? I would be. Volkswagen have the answer, though. It's a backseat GPS system that allows your kids to watch a giant, animated worm (nice!) eat away the time left until you reach your destination. The screen also takes them through a series of in-seat exercises and games to keep them occupied, and while it probably won't stop the "I'm hungry" and "Can I get a Big Mac?" questions, it will hopefully put paid to the "are we there yets". That's if and when it's ever released, of course - it's still a prototype at the moment.
