Although when CDs first appeared many years ago, one of their main selling points was that they were "virtually indestructible", it's a safe bet that most people have had at least one, or probably many, of their favourite discs develop faults over time.

"Bought this kit "just in case". Well wow how prophetic. Crashed PC and total re-install required. Come to some expensive vital (to me) software -zilch. Would recognise the disc but little else. Job one - clean the CD/DVD drive. Leave a while and same result. SO with heart in mouth I pulled out this 1st aid kit. Polishing didn't improve my disc. Cleaning didn't either. The more aggressive wheels did though - except that I think I overdid it!!! Took me a couple of goes and I finally managed to copy and then burn a new disc. Phew!!! Everything restored and no need to spend a few hundred pounds for replacement discs! RESULT "

"i would highly recommend this to anyone that like me, has trouble looking after their discs. the repair function is fantastic, though you might need to repair a disc more than once depending on how badly scratched they are. the clean function is also top notch. the only setback i've found is the polish wheels, they leave marks on the disc, so i don't advise using them. i've used this now to repair about 7 discs and each one has worked fine afterward. deep scratchs don't seem to repair fully, but the solution builds a film over the scratch to make the disc useable again. fantastic device for the low price that it is."

"Excellent, i have just repaired my daugters favorite CD after my son used it as a frizbee in the garden! The scratches were deep and replacement couldnt be found and only the first track would play. The first repair achieved 11 out of 15 tracks but it did take several polishes and 3 repairs to get all tracks working again. My daughters happiness... Priceless!!!!"

"Not perfect. This device does not reach scratches that are in the outer centimeter of the disc. There are no supporting rollers for the outer edge of the disc, so the edges just flex away from the Polish wheels. Has worked with small scratches nearer the centre. Read the instructions carefully - Polish wheels are more aggressive than Repair wheels, surprisingly! "

"Sorry, but I don't understand. Our children eagerly awaited the arrival of this product to help clear up their dvds. Sadly it has done absolutely nothing to help. Even the minor scratch marks have not been amended in any way and the circular pads don't even cover the full diameter of the dvds. Very disapointed, more for the kiddies than anything else. Maybe this is just best suited to cleaning advertising not repairing. Happy for other review folks but for us...very bad :-("

Standard Delivery
Our standard delivery service is provided by Royal Mail, and usually arrives 2 days after we’ve sent your order. We'll let you know by email as soon as your order is on its way to you, so you can arrange to be there when it arrives. If you’re not in when your order arrives, and it doesn’t fit through your letterbox, you’ll be able to collect your parcel from your local Post Office or Royal Mail collection point.
Express & Saturday Delivery
Although our Standard delivery service is pretty speedy, we understand that sometimes you may want your order even more quickly, and we’re also able to offer Express Delivery & Saturday Delivery options.
Express Delivery
Costs just £5.95, and if you place your order before 3:30pm Monday to Thursday, it will arrive with you the next working day. That means if you order at 1pm on a Tuesday, you’ll get your order on Wednesday, however if you order at 4pm on Friday, your order won't arrive until the following Tuesday (as it won’t be collected from us until Monday).
All Express Delivery orders are sent with our courier partner, Hermes, and you’ll need to be in to sign for your order. If you’re not in, the driver will leave a card with details of how you can collect your order, or arrange for it to be redelivered.
Saturday Delivery
Costs £9.95, and will arrive with you on the following Saturday, as long as your order is placed before 3:30pm on Friday.

Hassle-free Returns
We hope you’re pleased with everything you order from Gizoo. However, we understand there may be times when you need to return an item to us, and want to make sure it’s a simple and hassle-free process.
Unwanted Products
Gizoo will refund or exchange any unwanted items, providing reasonable care has been taken of the products and they are returned in their original condition. If you wish to return any goods please contact us to obtain a returns number (RMA number) and details of how to return your items.
You can let us know that you’d like to return unwanted products any time up to 7 working days after the day of delivery. Products should be returned to Gizoo undamaged and with their original packaging. No unwanted returns can be accepted without an RMA number.
If any product has not been returned to us in a reasonable condition, or we do not receive one or more items, we reserve the right to refuse a refund .The customer is expected to pay the return postage costs for any unwanted products.
Faulty Products
If any product arrives damaged, or is faulty on arrival, we will be happy to refund or exchange it for you. We will also cover the costs of returning it to us. If you wish to return any damaged, incorrect or faulty goods please contact us to obtain an RMA number and details of how to return your products.
If any fault occurs within 30 days of delivery, we will provide a full refund or exchange. For items which develop a fault more than 30 days after delivery to you, we’ll provide a replacement in accordance with the manufacturer’s warranty terms.
This does not affect your statutory rights.
Responsibility for Returned Goods
Please note: Any goods returned are the responsibility of the sender and we recommend sending them back by a registered or recorded method. Gizoo cannot accept responsibility for any returned goods lost in transit. We will refund the price of the item or exchange the product once it is received by us. A refund of the delivery charge incurred in delivering the returned product will also be given in the instance of incorrect, damaged or faulty on arrival goods.
