Little Tikes Super Splash Waterslide Hopefully Supports Older Tikes Too

When I was a kid we didn’t have a fancy backyard waterslide to enjoy when the weather got warm. We had to settle for water balloons, a sprinkler and the occasional life-risking runs on a Slip n’ Slide. That’s the way it was and we liked it! But I have to admit the fact that today’s kids actually have a shot at owning their own waterslide does make me a bit jealous. The Super Splash Waterslide from Little Tikes can be inflated in minutes and measures an impressive 16 feet on each side with the top of the water slide towering almost 12 feet in the air. And since it’s designed to handle a lot of activity it even has a built-in 15 inch blower that ensures it stays inflated at all times.

I assume the Super Splash also requires a connection to the backyard hose which keeps the water slide wet and slippery and also powers two water cannons capable of firing up to 20 feet. But as someone who’s technically considered a grownup I can’t help but wonder what something this size would due to a healthy lawn after a few days. As kids our Slip n’ Slide time was limited because after only a few hours the plastic slide had a tendency to kill a long strip of grass in our backyard. But on the other hand with summer quickly approaching finding a way to keep the kids occupied for even a few hours is probably worth losing your whole lawn.

The Little Tikes Super Splash Waterslide is available from Wal-Mart for $599.
